April, 2011 - The past year has been a very pleasant year in our neighborhood.  The threat of losing our quiet neighborhood in the middle of this large city is always a constant concern but so far, so good.  We continue to have new homes being built in our subdivision as well as new home construction in neighboring areas such as, Intown Homes on Hollister and McKean.  Although we will all miss the unobstructed view of Spring Lake, we are fortunate to have a development of single family homes rather than apartments.  These developments will serve to enhance our neighborhood and help maintain our property values.

This year's annual meeting will be attended by our City Council Member, Brenda Stardig and Officer Tatum with the Houston Police Department.  Plan to attend - this is your chance to ask any questions you may have about the neighborhood, district and the city.  Topics of particular interest to our neighborhood could include, but not limited to planned street widening, police activity/safety concerns, neighborhood code violations/reports, recent drainage tax that just passed, etc.  This is your opportunity to ask questions on issued that concern you and your neighborhood.
